NEHEMIAH ALL-STAR
Kennedy McClure, Class of 2021
Kennedy McClure is a sixth grader from Discovery Middle School at Nehemiah. Because of our small, classroom environment, his teachers encouraged him to write for the school’s newspaper, The Eagle Times. He enjoys his newly found talent and was extremely proud to see his article below published in the latest edition.
In after school, students attend Bible Class on Tuesdays. In Bible study, students learn about God and how He loves them. Mrs. Kathy Brown, Bible Teacher, tells us that, “God loves all of us in the same way because He made each one of us.”
One of the verses students studied recently was Colossians 3:12-17. The verse is about how God forgives everyone and about how everyone should live as Christians. It shows the way He forgives people for the bad things they do whenever someone asks for forgiveness. Jesus died on the cross so that the sins of every person could be forgiven by God. The scripture also tells us to live together as a team and to love one another.
