The Nehemiah Center is a Christian-based organization that offers academic, emotional, cultural, social and spiritual enrichment for at-risk children and their families in Houston's Third Ward and beyond.

Our Mission: 

Neighbors helping neighbors create a safe haven in which children are motivated, inspired and equipped to realize their God-given potential. 

Organization Profile: 

The Nehemiah Center opened with 22 children in January 1996. We now serve over 160 children daily and 522 Nehemiah family members. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, and your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Corporate gift matching is welcomed.
